Next Family Association Meeting: Monday, September 30 at 5:30 PM
St. Joseph Montessori School strives to be a community where teachers, staff, and parents work together to create an environment of high moral and academic values for our students. Parents are a vibrant part of the academic, personal, and social development of students. As a parent/guardian, you are automatically a member of the Family Association, the school’s volunteer support group. Faculty and staff are also members of the organization.
The school relies on Family Association members to help with special events and programs. Whether it is assisting in your child’s class, becoming a room parent, volunteering with the Winter Festival, or chaperoning a field trip or school dance, the possibilities are endless! Held on the last Monday of the month, Family Association meetings are open to all members. There are opportunities for leadership within Family Association as an Executive Council member or committee chair.
Volunteering will help you get to know the school better and will also give you the opportunity to meet other parents. Even if you can't come to Family Association meetings, please get in touch with the Family Association President or your room parent to find out how you can help. We look forward to having you share your time and talents in making a difference in the lives and education of our children. Your support and enthusiasm for the Family Association is greatly appreciated. Your impact on students’ educational experiences is immeasurable. Ready to volunteer? Get in touch with FA Volunteer Coordinator, Angie Timken.
NOTE: Per the Catholic Diocese of Central Ohio, all adults who volunteer at St. Joseph Montessori School must have Protecting God's Children certification and a background check on file with the school. We encourage ALL parents to obtain the proper requirements. Protecting God's Children seminars are held throughout the year at local Catholic schools and churches. Please visit virtus.org to register for a session near you. Click here to find a WebCheck background check facility near you.
