18 months - 3 years old
Our Toddler Program works on language, care of self, toilet independence, care of environment, gross and fine motor skills, and socializing.

3 - 6 years old
Children’s House students learn in multi-age settings, and environments are filled with scientifically designed manipulatives that engage young learners. Focuses are on practical life, sensorial exercises, language, and mathematics.

6 - 9 years old
Our Lower Elementary environment is filled with materials designed to spark the child’s interest in learning. Language arts, reading, mathematics and geometry, physical education, science, foreign language and cultural subjects are developed through the Montessori curriculum. Music, art, technology and library skills are presented through weekly lessons.

9 - 12 years old
The Montessori curriculum at this level is designed to support students in their academic growth toward abstract learning. Students learn through collaboration, individual work, small group work, and whole class projects. Areas of leaning include reading, mathematics and geometry, language, science, foreign language, cultural studies, music, art, physical education, technology and library skills. Annual projects include an interest fair, book writing, drama productions and interactive learning experiences.

12 - 14 years old
In our two-year, Middle School program, 12 to 14-year-old adolescents builds on a strong Montessori foundation through practical work in the classroom and the community. They learn to set challenging goals and become masters of their own time in preparation for success in high school. People who encounter St. Joseph Montessori students frequently remark that there is a distinct difference in their ability to assume responsibility and leadership, communicate well, think insightfully, and be resilient. These are the trademarks of a Montessori young adult.
