We are committed to remaining accessible to a broad social and cultural mix of students. Our tuition assistance program offers a modest amount of aid each year to families who are experiencing financial difficulties and to those unable to afford tuition. The money for these need-based grants comes directly from the school. Grants are made only to families who qualify on the basis of financial need after completing the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment online tuition assistance application. The tuition assistance application period is from November through March of the current school year. Applications are required on an annual basis. Only completed applications received by the deadline are considered. Generally, grants are announced by mail no later than April 15. SJMS safeguards the confidentiality of all financial information supplied by applicants. However, due to the nonprofit status of the school, the grant recipients and the amounts received are listed on the school’s tax return. At present we do not offer scholarships.
