Interest Fair is an academic event that takes place on February 23, with student preparation spanning several months. Children do research on any topic that interests them and prepare a research paper, display board, and 3-D project. During the fair, students in Middle School and Erdkinder are judged by volunteers (past parents and students, professionals, community members, neighbors, parents, etc). Participation on the primary level is voluntary. On the Middle School level, the display board and judging is voluntary, while the research paper is required. On the Erdkinder level, research paper, display board, and judging are all required. The Family Association organizes a meal for judges, which is held prior to the event. Any questions can be directed to the students' classroom teachers.
